Packed Out Room + Actionable Tips: Our First Event with the Chamber of Commerce

Packed Out Room + Actionable Tips

Off To A Great Start

On Tuesday we held our first collaborative training event with The Canterbury Employer's Chamber Of Commerce; it's safe to say, it was a huge success.

The room was packed out with over 130 business owners and brand managers from some of Canterbury's finest businesses and organisations, all keen to get a stronger insight into how to use Google marketing to their advantage.

So Many Tips, So Little Time

Our main speaker, Alice Moore, chose to focus on high-value areas that are simple to implement.

Some key points from the session included:

  • Ensuring your website is up to speed and mobile friendly
  • How to improve your website's content for SEO and conversions
  • The importance of having a Google My Business listing
Bringing Google To Christchurch, Again

We are proud to have been the common denominator between Google and Canterbury businesses once again.

Our favourite Googler Uttara Nataraj flew in from Auckland especially for the event. Her insights on the Q&A panel were invaluable and gave attendees some great insights into the world of Google and how to use it to their advantage.

A Great Q&A

We finished the afternoon off with a lively Q&A session which garnered plenty of great questions from attendees. We were so pleased with the levels of engagement and believe that everyone who attended the session took away some easily actionable steps to improve their online presence.

Don't Miss The Next One

The afternoon received rave reviews, with plenty of attendees excited to attend the next. If you missed out on our first training session, don't worry we're just getting started!

Keep your eyes peeled for the next event, details coming soon.
