Duration of Campaign: 12 weeks
Number of Facebook fans when we commenced the campaign: 6,982
Number of Facebook fans at the time of draw: 18,282
Spike in Traffic to www.mintdesign.co.nz: 726% (not too shabby!)
Cost of iPhone: $1,049
Sure, we also had the internal costs of our wonderfully talented graphic designer, Nelson, creating the banner for the promotion, but he's pretty quick!
The Fallout: The Post-Competition Decline
Now, we are no fools, we know that our number of fans will drop, probably by up to 10-15% over the next few days due to the competition coming to an end and some fans "un-liking" us because they only wanted us for the chance to win the prize. We would be silly not to acknowledge this, but we are confident that our content will keep the majority of our "likers" engaged enough with our page that they will stick around.
